Description The language is a core element of our life. It helps to make possible the communication in our life and at the same time, it shapes our structues of thinking and the way we communicate our thoughts. This is why the better we use the language, the better we get to know ourselves and present our personality to the society. This course aims to give to the students general and special skills in using the albanian language; by improving their skills in writng of the albanian language and by developing their speaking abilities in discourses and different discussions.
Objectives • To present the students with the basic rules of the art of writing. • To learn the basic issues of the morphological and syntactic regulations. • To make the students achieve better acts of communication through the normative discourse. • To create their papers, writings, studies, diploma etc. through a specialised and normative language. • To encourage the critical approach on the language matters and on the corretion in the cases when the albanian language is not uses correctly.

3Semantics- The meaning of the words- The lexical and semantic field- Synonyms, antonyms, homonyms- The idioms of the Albanian Language
4The foreign words in Albanian- Neologism- Borrowings and their types
5The sources of the enrichement of the Albanian Language- Through the translation of the borrowings and the suffixes- The international words and the terminology of different fields.
6The standardisation of the Albanian Language- Skills on correct writing- Characteristics of the standard language- Ilustrations and exercises by examples from the press (the orthographic and grammatical errors)
7THE NOUN, ITS GRAMMATICAL GENDER AND FLEXION- How is formed the plural of the masculine names- Nouns with the same theme in both gramatical genders- The flexion in the Albanian Language - How to write correctly the names of the persons.
